Three Hospitalized After Personal Injury at State Fair | Missouri

A fun night at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia came to a crashing halt when five individuals were struck by an old police car. The accident occurred during a charity race at the Pepsi Grandstand at about 9 p.m., when the car traveled over a guardrail and through a safety fence. Although the driver was not injured, five spectators suffered personal injury, with three being hospitalized. Mark Quisenberry, Lela Wood, and Jessalin Degonia were the individuals that were taken to the hospital. Barry Smith and Archie Simpson both had minor injuries that were treated at the scene. The driver of the car, Tyson Russell, did not suffer any injuries.
